Eligible for COVID-19 booster? Please book online or call 119
The COVID-19 booster vaccine is now available to ensure you have continued protection over the winter. If you are eligible you can book your appointment online at www.nhs.uk/Covid-Vaccination or by calling 119. You can also visit www.vaccinators.co.uk to find local walk in clinics available.
Please be aware that we are not offering COVID-19 vaccine boosters at this GP practice and are unable to book appointments for you.
You are eligible for your booster if
- You’ve had a first and second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine over six months ago
And you are
- Aged over 40
- A health and social care worker
- Aged 16 or over with a health condition that puts you at high risk from COVID-19
- An unpaid carer
- Aged 16 and over and live with someone who is more likely to get infections (such as someone who has HIV, has had a transplant or is having certain treatments for cancer, lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
Those eligible can pre-book an appointment from five months after their second dose online at www.nhs.uk/Covid-Vaccination or by calling 119. An appointment will be offered for a date that is six months after your second dose.
If you are an unpaid carer or someone who lives with someone who is immunosuppressed, you may not be able to book through the National Booking Service. If this is the case for you, please let us know so that we can share a letter with you which you can take to a vaccination walk-in centre as proof of your eligibility for a booster vaccine.
Patients who live in a care home are also eligible for their booster vaccine, and will be offered their booster within their care home setting.
Please visit COVID-19 boosters Frequently Asked Questions for further information.
